| Thomas M. Schickel has worked in the construction industry for over 23 years. During the 1970's he started as a carpenter and superintendent, and later worked as a construction manager on $200 million industrial projects for Gilbane Building Company. He received his B.Arch. in 1981 and his M.Arch. in Urban Design in 1983 from Cornell University. From 1984 to 1992 he designed numerous multi-million dollar projects, including several new schools and major additions. These experiences shaped his dedication to creating building projects of utility, economy and beauty in the service of each and every client. This commitment is the operating principle upon which Schickel Architecture was founded. |
